RemX Staffing is proud to partner with a leading healthcare client to hire Licensed Medicare Customer Service Representatives for a remote, seasonal opportunity. This is a direct hire position—no temp-to-perm uncertainty!

Position Details

• Title: Licensed Health Insurance Agent
• Type: Direct Hire
• Location: Remote (East Region only)
• Pay:
  • English-speaking agents:
    • $18/hr + Sales bonuses (December 16th-July 14th)
    • $21/hr ($18/hr + $3/hr stipend) + Sales bonuses (July 15th-December 15th)
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) agents:
    • $19/hr + Sales bonuses (December 16th-July14th)
    • $24/hr ($19/hr + $5/hr stipend) + Sales bonuses (July 15th-December 15th)
  • ***Stipend will be removed on 12/15 or at the end of YOUR selling season***
• Schedule: Open availability required between 6 AM – 2 AM ET, Monday–Sunday
• Training: 2–4 weeks, likely 8 AM – 4:30 PM EST/CST (to be confirmed)
  • Training is 100% Mandatory - no exceptions.
    • Any time off in the first 90 days will NOT be approved.

Job Responsibilities

• Handle mostly inbound calls; outbound only for follow-ups or requested callbacks
• Assist customers in understanding Medicare coverage and selecting the best plans
• Deliver exceptional customer service with empathy and active listening
• Identify additional customer needs and recommend upgrades or additional services
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect sensitive information

Qualifications

• Active Health Insurance License in your state of residence
  • Note: Life + Health licenses do not meet requirements. Must be a traditional Health or Accident & Sickness license
• Minimum 6 months of health insurance sales experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Computer savvy with high-speed internet (15+ Mbps)
• Must be able to connect via Ethernet (wired connection)
• Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) must pass a language test with a score of 42% or higher
