Bold Monk Brewing Co. is unlike anything else in Atlanta. Tucked into the Upper Westside just off I-75, our 18,000+ sq ft destination brings together a Belgian-inspired craft brewery, a full-service restaurant, a curated bookstore, an artisan coffee program, a beer garden, and a retail shop all under one roof. With vaulted ceilings, Mondrian-inspired glasswork, and eclectic spaces ranging from the Abbey to the Cask Room, Bold Monk was built around a single idea: a place to simply be.

Our cuisine blurs the lines between Belgian fare, Southern comfort, and California fresh, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily and brunch on weekends. Our beers are Belgian-inspired, foeder-aged, and brewed with devotion. Our artisan coffee program is anchored by a proprietary partnership with Methodical Coffee. And our private events business, with three distinct spaces including the Abbey, the Cask Room, and the beer garden, hosts weddings, corporate gatherings, and celebrations and is a meaningful and growing revenue stream.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This is not a role for someone who wants predictability. As General Manager, you will oversee the full operation of Bold Monk across every revenue vertical, every team, and every guest experience. You will need the financial acuity of a seasoned operator and the entrepreneurial instincts to identify opportunity, move with urgency, and lead without waiting for direction.

One morning you may be reviewing P&L variances. That afternoon you could be walking a prospective wedding client through the Cask Room or jumping in to support a barista during a coffee service rush. No two days will look alike, and that is exactly the point.

We are looking for someone who does not just manage a business but genuinely cares about the culture, craft, and community that makes Bold Monk what it is.

WHAT YOU WILL OVERSEE

• Belgian-Inspired Craft Brewery
• Full-Service Restaurant (Lunch, Dinner and Weekend Brunch)
• Artisan Coffee Program (Methodical Coffee Partnership)
• Bookstore and Library
• Retail Shop
• Private Events Program (3 Dedicated Event Spaces)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own the P&L across all revenue verticals including the brewery, restaurant, coffee program, retail shop, bookstore, and private events, with disciplined focus on margin, cost controls, and financial efficiency.
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting, translating numbers into clear and timely decisions.
• Lead, hire, schedule, and develop a large cross-functional team spanning front of house, back of house, brewing, coffee, retail, and events.
• Partner with the Head Brewer on production scheduling, quality control, taproom inventory, and brand expression of Bold Monk's Belgian-inspired beer program.
• Ensure a consistently exceptional dining experience across all dayparts, aligned with the brand's Belgian, Southern, and California-fresh culinary identity.
• Oversee the artisan coffee program including training, quality standards, and the Methodical Coffee partnership.
• Drive revenue and guest engagement through the private events business by managing the Abbey, Cask Room, and beer garden for weddings, corporate events, and community programming.
• Manage the bookstore and retail shop with thoughtful merchandising, vendor relationships, and curated product selection.
• Build and maintain SOPs, systems, and operational tools that allow the business to scale without diluting its culture.
• Serve as the face of Bold Monk, stewarding community relationships, local partnerships, and the brand's identity on Atlanta's Upper Westside.
• Identify and act on opportunities for new revenue, cost reduction, and continuous improvement across all business lines.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• 5 or more years of multi-concept or multi-revenue-stream hospitality management experience with direct P&L accountability.
• Proven financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and the ability to read a P&L and act on it decisively.
• An entrepreneurial mindset. You spot opportunity, move with urgency, and do not wait to be told what to fix.
• Experience leading large, diverse teams across departments with very different operational rhythms.
• Strong event sales or private dining experience is a meaningful plus, as this is a key revenue driver at Bold Monk.
• Comfort with ambiguity and variety. You thrive when priorities shift and no two days look the same.
• A leadership presence that earns trust from both hourly staff and ownership.
• Familiarity with brewery operations, specialty coffee, and independent retail is a genuine advantage.
• A real appreciation for craft, whether that is beer, food, coffee, books, or all of the above.

COMPENSATION
$90,000 to $115,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits details will be provided during the interview process.
