Security Officer (Unarmed) - $18-19hr (Savannah, GA)

We are hiring professional, reliable Security Officers for contract assignments in the Savannah, Georgia area. Officers will be stationed at transportation facilities providing security coverage for passengers, staff, and property.

This is a public-facing, unarmed security position. Officers are expected to maintain a visible, professional presence and serve as the first point of contact for safety and security concerns. Strong communication skills and the ability to de-escalate situations calmly are essential to this role.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintain a visible security presence at assigned posts and patrol areas
• Monitor facility access points and screen individuals entering the premises
• Observe and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and policy violations
• Respond to and de-escalate incidents involving passengers, visitors, and the public
• Enforce facility rules and conduct policies in a calm, professional manner
• Complete Daily Activity Reports (DAR) accurately and on time each shift
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and client representatives
• Assist law enforcement and emergency personnel as needed
• Perform opening and closing procedures as directed

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Valid government-issued ID
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods
• Strong verbal communication and conflict resolution skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor at all times
• Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening

The following qualifications are preferred but not required. If you hold any of the below, please submit supporting documents with your application:

• Georgia Security Officer License (Blue Card)
• 24-Hour Basic Security Officer Training Certificate
• CPR / First Aid / AED Certification
• OC Spray Certification
• Prior law enforcement, security, and/or military experience

Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening.

Benefits

Pay: $18.00 to $19.00 per hour

Multiple shifts available including days, evenings, and overnight
