Responsibilities
- Deliver NICU respiratory care per physician orders, including ventilator management and monitoring
- Assess and monitor neonatal patients; adjust ventilator settings, wean weaning as appropriate, and supervise respiratory therapies
- Administer inhaled medications, airway clearance therapies, CPAP/HFNC, and related interventions per protocol
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record; communicate changes to the NICU team
- Calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain respiratory equipment; ensure alarms and safety checks are current
- Collaborate closely with neonatologists, nurses, and other members of the care team to optimize patient outcomes

Requirements
- Active Georgia RRT license (GA RRT Lic)
- NBRC – RRT credential (RRT)
- AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent NICU-specific respiratory therapy experience
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts on a 12x3 schedule in a NICU setting
