Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to PCU patients, including monitoring, assessment, and timely response to changes in condition
- Administer medications and IV therapies; monitor telemetry and vital signs; manage IV fluids and drains as prescribed
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and execute the plan of care; support discharge planning and patient education
- Document all care activities accurately in the electronic health record; ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members; advocate for patient safety and quality outcomes

Requirements
- Active RN license in good standing in Georgia
- AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIH Certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PCU or equivalent specialty area
- Ability to work a night shift schedule (7:00 pm–7:00 am) and participate in a travel assignment
- Strong critical thinking, documentation, and communication skills; ability to work in a fast-paced PCU setting
