Product Manager - Manhattan Active (MAWM)
Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (MAWM) Product Manager
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (MAWM) Product Manager to lead the product strategy, roadmap, and delivery of enterprise warehouse management capabilities. This role will partner closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and warehouse operations to drive the evolution of Manhattan Active WM and deliver innovative, scalable supply chain solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (MAWM) capabilities, aligning with business objectives and operational priorities.
Partner with warehouse operations, supply chain leadership, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and product innovation.
Gather, analyze, and prioritize business requirements, translating them into product features, user stories, and functional specifications.
Own and manage the MAWM product backlog, ensuring priorities are aligned with business value, customer needs, and technical objectives.
Collaborate closely with engineering, solution architecture, QA, and implementation teams throughout the Agile development lifecycle.
Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, feature prioritization, user acceptance testing, and release planning activities.
Drive enhancements across core warehouse processes including inbound, receiving, put-away, inventory management, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, cycle counting, returns, and labor optimization.
Partner with integration teams to ensure seamless connectivity between MAWM and enterprise applications such as OMS, ERP, transportation, automation, and third-party systems.
Define product success metrics, monitor operational KPIs, and leverage user feedback to continuously improve product capabilities.
Act as the primary product owner and subject matter expert for Manhattan Active WM initiatives while communicating product vision, roadmap, and delivery progress to executive stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, Business Analysis, or Supply Chain Technology.
Hands-on experience with Manhattan Active Warehouse Management (MAWM) is required.
Strong understanding of warehouse operations including receiving, put-away, inventory management, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, returns, and cycle counting.
Proven experience managing product roadmaps, Agile backlogs, feature prioritization, and release planning.
Experience working on MAWM implementations, enhancements, upgrades, or large-scale warehouse transformation initiatives.
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working with cross-functional product and engineering teams.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to influence business and technical teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven product decisions.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience integrating MAWM with OMS, ERP, TMS, automation systems, or supply chain platforms.
Exposure to cloud-native supply chain applications and modern integration architectures.
- Experience in retail, e-commerce, distribution, or omnichannel fulfillment environments.
- Manhattan Active certifications are a plus.
Must Haves
- 8+ years in Product Management/Ownership, BA, or Supply Chain Tech with real ownership titles.
- Hands-on Manhattan Active WM named explicitly in job bullets — not legacy Manhattan (WMOS/WM2013/PkMS) and not just a skills-list keyword.
- Implementation/upgrade/transformation experience, not pure BAU support.
- Agile backlog ownership — grooming, sprint planning, release planning, with a named tool (Jira/ADO).
- Cross-functional delivery — worked directly with engineering/architecture/QA through the dev lifecycle.
