We are hiring a Temporary Administrative Support Specialist on behalf of a leading provider of retirement and Medicare planning solutions. This organization is nationally recognized for its ERISA-compliant services that support employers, unions, and municipalities in managing multi-generational workforce transitions. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. You’ll support internal teams and client-facing activities by managing administrative tasks, coordinating schedules, and maintaining organized records. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform general administrative duties such as data entry, document preparation, and file management
- Schedule client appointments and coordinate internal meetings
- Answer and direct incoming calls with professionalism and courtesy
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with privacy standards
- Assist with client communications and project-based tasks
- Prepare materials for educational sessions and webinars
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in an administrative or office support role
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Familiarity with healthcare or insurance terminology
- Experience supporting teams in a client-service or benefits-related environment
