Attorney

Role Description:

Marietta probate and estate planning law firm seeks an experienced Georgia attorney to work with the firm on a fulltime basis. This role focuses on a combination of uncontested and contested estate disputes, as well as guardianship and conservatorship issues. This role requires a proven track record in litigation and a solid understanding of probate law.

Depending on the needs of the firm, you may also design estate plans, advise clients on how best to structure their estate plan to accomplish their goals, and ensure their plans are thorough and complete.

This is a fulltime position where you are expected to work primarily in the office approximately 40-45 hours per week. After successful onboarding, hybrid work is possible. Compensation is based on experience and expertise in the practice area and ranges from $125,000-$150,000, with opportunity to earn additional performance-based pay.

Qualifications:

• 5 or more years as an attorney in Georgia
• 2 or more years of experience in litigation, with preference for probate litigation experience in preparing discovery, responding to discovery, writing motions and briefs, and appearing in court
• Very strong attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and team members
• Excellent customer service skills
• Positive outlook and a desire to help clients
• Ability to keep track of and meet deadlines
• Goal oriented personality with a focus on achieving successful results for clients in their cases, and meeting or exceeding firm goals
