Travel Respiratory Therapist Job

Healthforce by TLC
Cumming, GA
Step into a pivotal role as a Respiratory Therapist in Cumming, Georgia, and bring life-enriching care to patients across the respiratory continuum. This dedicated position places you at the heart of advanced patient support, where your expertise in airway management, ventilator coordination, and pulmonary therapy translates into real-world outcomes. Picture yourself guiding treatments, optimizing oxygen delivery, and collaborating with physicians and nurses to design compassionate, evidence-based plans that empower patients to breathe easier and regain confidence in their daily lives. Your skills will be the bridge between complexity and comfort, between acute care and recovery, and your impact will extend beyond the patient room to families, communities, and peers who look to you for leadership and inspiration. And for Georgia lovers and border-crossing explorers alike, the state offers a tapestry of experiences—from vibrant city life to serene natural trails—that can enrich your personal and professional journey.

Georgia’s beauty is not just backdrop—it’s a companion to your work. In Cumming, you’ll enjoy a welcoming Southern community vibe that values work-life balance and meaningful connections. Yet the opportunity doesn’t stop there. With contracts that allow travel across various locations in the United States, you can broaden your clinical horizon while maintaining a solid foundation of guaranteed hours and dependable weekly compensation. From the foothills of the Blue Ridge to bustling metro areas and coastal escapes, you’ll encounter diverse patient populations, hospital systems, and care protocols that sharpen your clinical judgment and expand your professional repertoire. The role invites you to savor Georgia’s unique charm—historic towns, scenic drives, and a culture that celebrates resilience and care—while also offering the chance to experience different regions during contract rotations, all with support that keeps you steady on the road.

In this role, you’ll assume a range of responsibilities designed to deepen your expertise and advance your career in respiratory care. Core duties include assessing patient respiratory status, initiating and optimizing therapies such as nebulized treatments and oxygen delivery, and managing ventilator support with careful titration and patient safety at the forefront. You’ll perform pulmonary function assessments, assist with weaning from ventilators when appropriate, and execute airway clearance techniques that promote mobilization and recovery. Ensuring accurate documentation in electronic medical records, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and communicating clearly with patients and families are essential components of your daily workflow. You’ll participate in quality improvement initiatives, contribute to care plans, and stay current with evolving guidelines in critical care and pulmonary rehabilitation. The position also invites you to expand into supervision or mentoring roles as you gain experience, with ample opportunity for professional growth within the specialty through ongoing education and hands-on practice in diverse settings. To support your success, you’ll have access to a robust network of colleagues, managers, and clinical specialists who are dedicated to your development and your confidence on every shift.

You’ll receive competitive compensation designed to recognize the demanding nature of travel healthcare and the high value of your expertise. Weekly pay ranges from $1,439 to $1,499, reflecting the commitment to fair, market-driven compensation across placements. The contract starts on 03/30/2026 and is structured for Weeks of assignment with guaranteed hours of 36.0 each week, providing predictability and stability in a dynamic travel environment. In addition to salary, you’ll have access to housing assistance to ease relocation and lodging logistics, allowing you to focus on patient care rather than housing hurdles. A completion or signing bonus, along with extension opportunities, may be available to reward performance and continued collaboration with the company. You’ll also benefit from 24/7 support while traveling with the organization, ensuring you have immediate access to help, guidance, and resources whenever you need them on the road. This level of comprehensive support is designed to minimize stress and maximize your clinical effectiveness, so you can deliver outstanding care with confidence.

Our company values empower you as a professional. We are united by a commitment to fostering career advancement, recognizing that your growth translates into better patient outcomes and stronger teams. A supportive work environment means open communication, constructive feedback, mentorship, and clear pathways to pursue advanced certifications or specialties within respiratory care. You’ll join a culture where your voice matters, your expertise is respected, and your ambitions are cultivated through ongoing learning opportunities, leadership exposure, and the chance to contribute to program development and best practices. This is more than a job—it's a partnership focused on your long-term success, with resources and people you can trust as you navigate the complexities of travel healthcare together.

If you’re ready to apply your expertise in a role that values impact, growth, and resilience, this is your invitation to join a team that prioritizes your professional development and well-being. Embrace the chance to work in a beautiful part of Georgia, with the flexibility to explore new locations across the country while enjoying consistent hours, competitive pay, and robust support. Take the next step toward shaping the future of respiratory care—your skills deserve a stage that honors them, and your dedication deserves a workplace that uplifts you every day.
