Pay: $10–$13/hour plus tips, based on experience

About Us:

Night Sky Coffee Roasters is a locally owned coffee shop rooted in community and quality. We’re passionate about excellent coffee and exceptional guest experiences. We’re looking for a skilled and dedicated Barista to join our team—someone who cares about the craft and takes pride in doing things well.

What You’ll Do:

• Serve guests with warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail.

• Prepare espresso drinks, brewed coffee, and other menu items to our quality standards.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming café environment.

• Operate and maintain espresso machines and coffee equipment.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth, efficient shifts.

• Accurately manage POS transactions when needed.

• Help train new hires and support team development when appropriate.

• Ensure all shift responsibilities are completed thoroughly before leaving.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous barista experience is preferred (but not required for the right candidate).

• Strong customer service skills and a natural sense of hospitality.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to manage tasks independently or as part of a team.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining focus and care.

• Willingness to learn, train others, and take initiative in day-to-day operations.

• Availability for varied shifts, including mornings, weekends, and holidays.
