We are looking for ​a Medical Biller/Collections Specialist to join our team! You will be able to perform the following responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Medical DME billing to include Medicare, Medicaid and commercial insurance payors
• DME to include:
  • Urology
  • Ostomy
  • Diabetes
  • Incontinence
• Reconcile Medicare audits
• Phone communication with all payors
• Make necessary corrections to patient account information to ensure timely payment
• Record and communicate accurately patient information
• Provide assistance with other billing and collections as needed
• Credentialing to include submitting applications to Medicaid managed payers and commercial payers to gain in-network status
• Manage department to meet the goals of the company

• Qualifications:
• Previous experience in billing/collections with DME to Medicare, Medicaid and commercial insurance
• Ability to manage employees
• Previous experience successfully gaining contracts/in-network status with MCO's and commercial payers
• Georgia Medicaid billing and payment posting a plus
• Maintain PHI and HIPAA confidential information
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Working in Brightree a plus
