POSITION OVERVIEW

The Emergency Medicine Physician will provide high-quality, patient-centered emergency care in a hospital setting. Responsibilities include rapid assessment, diagnosis, stabilization, and treatment of acute and emergent conditions across all age groups. The physician will work collaboratively with nursing staff, advanced practice providers, specialists, and hospital leadership to ensure safe and efficient patient flow.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of emergency medical conditions

• Provide timely assessment and stabilization of critically ill and injured patients

• Perform emergency procedures consistent with training and scope of practice

• Collaborate with consulting services and inpatient teams for admissions and transfers

• Ensure accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record

• Adhere to hospital protocols, quality standards, and patient safety initiatives

REQUIREMENTS

• MD or DO

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine

• Active Georgia medical license (or ability to obtain)

• DEA registration (or eligibility)
