The Marketing & Communications Manager is a hands-on leader responsible for the planning, execution, and optimization of our marketing and communications initiatives. This role supports and works in close partnership with the VP of Marketing & Communications, acting as a capable extension of leadership by managing day-to-day operations and guiding team execution. The Marketing & Communications Manager is creative and analytical and enhances the company’s market presence, brand recognition, and business growth across our brands.
Essential Duties:
- Strategic Marketing Planning: Assist with the implementation of the marketing strategy aligned with the company's goals. This includes identifying target markets, setting marketing goals, and crafting plans to engage with hospital systems and clinicians for recruitment.
- Brand Management: Own day-to-day brand governance of Core’s brand and ensure consistency, clarity, and quality across all platforms and materials, externally and internally.
- Content and Communications Leadership: Lead the development of engaging and informative content for various channels, including the company's website, social media, print materials, and internal communication channels. This could involve coordinating with subject matter experts to produce blog posts, newsletters, and whitepapers relevant to emergency and hospital medicine.
- Digital Marketing : Assist with digital marketing efforts, including maintaining the company's website, social media channels, and email marketing campaigns. Utilize SEO strategies to improve online visibility and engagement.
- Advertising and Promotions: Assist with the execution of advertising campaigns, both online and offline, to promote Core's services. This might include trade shows, webinars, and other events tailored to the healthcare industry.
- Market Research and Analysis: Stay on top of market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity. Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for expansion.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with other departments, particularly Business Development, Clinician Recruitment, and Clinical Operations leadership, to ensure marketing strategies align with overall business objectives. Engage with external stakeholders, such as hospital administrators and healthcare professionals, to understand their needs and perceptions of Core.
- Event Management: Coordinate and participate in promotional activities and trade shows to market services.
- Marketing Operations and Administration: Manage day-to-day marketing operations and administrative functions, including request intake, scheduling, project tracking, vendor coordination, and internal communications workflows.
- Performance Metrics and Reporting: Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and strategies, using data to make informed decisions and adjustments where necessary.
Skills, Knowledge, Abilities:
- Strong understanding of marketing concepts, strategies, and best practices, particularly in the healthcare sector.
- Ability to implement effective marketing strategies that align with company goals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for crafting clear, persuasive marketing messages and presenting strategies to various stakeholders.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows Suite, including Power Point, Word, Outlook, and Teams, but comfortable working on an Apple computer.
- Advanced knowledge of digital marketing tactics (including SEO, Google Analytics, WordPress, HubSpot, email marketing, content marketing, and social media), brand management, and data analysis (for interpreting market research and campaign metrics).
- Proficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Design Suite (Id, Ai, Pro, Etc.), Canva Professional, and iMovie.
- Strong relationship skills and ability to build and maintain trust with professionals internally and externally to the company.
- Ability to navigate competing priorities and effectively work in a fast-paced environment.

Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Marketing, preferred
- High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing and executing marketing strategies.
- Healthcare Industry Experience preferred.
- Prior experience in developing, managing, and evolving corporate brands.
