Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and outgoing Smoothie Bar Barista to join our team! In this role, you will welcome customers into the smoothie shop and prepare their smoothie and or acai bowls orders. Your goal is to ensure patrons enjoy their drinks, food and time at our shop. The ideal candidate is passionate about healthy eating and is willing to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction. No weekends required. Closed on holidays. Work days Tuesday - Fridays.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers into the smoothie shop with a smile
- Take food and beverage orders
- Explain the menu items to customers
- Create a variety of smoothie, acai bowls, and toasts
- Enter orders into the POS system with accuracy and efficiency
- Cashier and wipe down surfaces
- Maintain a clean work environment
Qualifications :
- Familiarity with food safety guidelines
- Must be willing to work Tuesday - Friday 9:00-5:00pm
- No Weekends required
- Reliable transportation
- Must have a great personality
- Must know how to cut up fruit
- ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification or ability to obtain shortly after hiring
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods
