This role requires a technically strong and operationally mature engineer who will help design, scale, and maintain the reliability of our physical and virtual data center infrastructure. As a Level 3 SRE, you will be a technical leader responsible for ensuring system uptime, optimizing capacity and performance, and contributing to long-term infrastructure resiliency.\n\n## What will your job look like?\n\n\u2022 Architect, deploy, and support SQL Server Always On Availability Groups across on-prem and Azure environments. \n\u2022 Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server Failover Cluster Instances (FCI). \n\u2022 Administer Windows Server Failover Clustering (WSFC), quorum, and node health. \n\u2022 Plan and execute failover testing, DR drills, and recovery validation. \n\u2022 Perform SQL Server installation, upgrades, patching, and migrations. \n\u2022 Manage backup, restore, and disaster recovery strategies. \n\u2022 Monitor and tune database performance (indexing, query optimization, waits). \n\u2022 Troubleshoot replication, latency, blocking, and cluster-related issues. \n\u2022 Configure and manage AG listeners, networking, DNS, and storage. \n\u2022 Ensure database security, auditing, and compliance. \n\u2022 Automate DBA tasks using T-SQL, PowerShell, and SQL Agent. \n\u2022 Support application deployments and schema changes. \n\u2022 Provide 24\u00d77 production support for mission-critical systems. \n\u2022 Maintain runbooks, standards, and operational documentation.\n\n## All you need is...\n\n\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field. \n\u2022 4-7 years of experience in database administration and operations. \n\u2022 Experience participating in or leading incident response and postmortem analysis processes. \n\u2022 Previous exposure to hybrid environments integrating on-premise data centers with public or private cloud platforms is desirable. \n\u2022 4+ years of experience with SQL Server Database. \n\u2022 4+ Years of experience with any other RDBMS Database knowledge (oracle, PostgreSQL). \nExpertise \n\u2022 Hands-on experience with backup, recovery, and HA solutions. \n\u2022 Strong proficiency in Linux and Debian environments. \n\u2022 Proficiency in scripting for database automation. \n\u2022 Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. \n\u2022 Strong communication skills for cross-team collaboration. \n\u2022 Understanding of Oracle and MySQL databases is a plus, but not mandatory.\n\n## Why you will love this job:\n\n\u2022 Ability to grow and gain many opportunities for professional development. \n\u2022 We are a dynamic, multi-cultural organization that constantly innovates and empowers our employees to grow.
