We are seeking a talented individual to join our Health and Benefits Sales team at Mercer. This hybrid role can be based in New York City, NY; Connecticut; Morristown, NJ; or Atlanta, GA where we have a Mercer office location. The role requires working at least three days a week in the office.
Responsibilities- Apply highly developed market and internal service offering insights to sales calls to engage potential clients, generate interest, and schedule meetings or presentations.
- Create sales proposals, presentations, and RFP responses that address complex prospect needs and communicate the business value of internal services and offerings.
- Lead complex sales processes from identification to closing; lead pricing negotiations, facilitate product and expectation discussions, and secure a beneficial financial outcome for the business.
- BA/BS degree.
- Strong track record of achieving sales goals.
- Experience selling to companies in the 100 – 5,000 employee benefits space.
- Experiential knowledge of the Employee Benefits or Health and Benefits consulting industry and products.
- Strong network and ability to gain access to C-suite level executives.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $97,000 to $194,500 . The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives. We offer a competitive total rewards package including health and welfare benefits, tuition assistance, 401K savings and other retirement programs as well as employee assistance programs.
