We are looking for Marglen Associates for the following positions:

- Extrusion

Extrusion Operator - Job Summary:

The Extrusion Operator is responsible for monitoring the extruder and the fiber that is being produced.

Job Duties/Responsibilities: (Listed in order of importance)

1. Monitor extruder temperatures, control pressure and spin pack pressure.

2. Change extruder filters.

3. Monitor polymer melt consistency.

4. Assist in the thread up of the production line.

5. Monitor the finish that is being applied.

6. Clean finish and godet rollers.

7. Watch for and remove wraps.

8. Change screens as needed.

9. Accurately maintain all appropriate log books and journals.

10. Assist with changing packs as needed.

11. Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Draw Line Operator - Job Summary:

The Draw Line Operator is responsible for monitoring the fiber running through the draw line and cutter wheel.

Job Duties/Responsibilities: (Listed in order of importance)

1. Maintain both creels and monitor cans for run ability.

2. Monitor guides and rollers for wraps and remove as necessary.

3. Watch for hard ends and cut them out.

4. Adjust speed of the line as necessary.

5. Remove all sub-standard fiber before it goes into the dryer.

6. Ensure safety gates are in the down position at all times when the line is in motion with the exception of running at thread up speed when threading up or if a tow breaks out.

7. Assist in picking up waste at the draw line and cutter wheel.

8. Maintain a clean work environment.

9. Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Crimper Operator - Job Summary:

Job Duties/Responsibilities: Crimper Operator (Listed in order of importance)

1. Monitor the pressure and temperature on the crimper and steam chest.

2. Monitor the dryer bed for proper lay of the fiber.

3. Notify the baler crew of possible problems at the cutter wheel.

4. Keep the crimper, steam chest and second floor roller clean of fiber that may get caught in the equipment.

5. Help at the cutter wheel when necessary.

6. Assist in picking up waste at the draw line and cutter wheel.

7. Maintain a clean work environment.

10. Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Utility Operator - Job Summary:

The primary responsibility of the Utility Operator is to collect waste from the extrusion department and to assist the shift supervisor and lead operator in keeping the extrusion and draw lines running properly.

Job Duties/Responsibilities: (Listed in order of importance)

1. Collecting and weighing waste and enter data into computer.

2. Filling finish totes at draw line, cutter wheel and extruder as needed.

3. Assist with changing, building and cleaning spin packs.

4. Relieving other positions for breaks as needed.

5. Operate genie boom and unstop pipes as needed.

6. Correctly and thoroughly clean out baler, pipes and cutter wheel during product change overs.

7. Performs other duties as assigned by management.

- Bottle Processing

Sorter - Job Summary:

The Sorter is responsible for the identification and removal of contaminants in the PET bottle stream on their assigned shift in compliance with established Company standards and procedures.

Sorter - Job Duties/Responsibilities: (List in order of importance)

1. Remove any non-PET bottle or substance from the production conveyor.

2. Use the bottle process ID chart to identify good and bad bottles.

3. Assist with dumping full waste containers into the appropriate waste bin.

4. Performs other duties as assigned by management.

5. Walks up a flight of steep stairs.

Bag Puller – Job Summary:

The Bag Puller is responsible for changing all waste bags from the NRTs and manual sorters as needed on their assigned shift in compliance with established Company standards and procedures.

Job Duties/Responsibilities: (List in order of importance)

1. Physically pull full waste bags from under the NRT equipment.

2. Properly identify different types of contamination coming off the line.

3. Give breaks to sorters on the line.

4. Keep NRT sort equipment clean so it will work properly.

5. Empty bins filled by manual sorter into proper waste bags.

6. Keep platforms and area around sort line clean.

7. Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Bale Breaker - Job Summary:

The Utility associate is responsible for feeding bales into the system according to the production merge plan on their assigned shift in compliance with established Company standards and procedures.

Job Duties/Responsibilities: (List in order of importance)

1. Check and properly operate lift truck.

2. Cut and remove all wires from bales.

3. Remove excess debris from wires and discard wires into wire dumpster.

4. Separate good PET bottles from magnet waste and return them to the bale breaker in-feed conveyor.

5. Pick up loose bottles from around the machine and return them to the in-feed conveyor.

6. Correctly fill out forms and log sheets.

7. Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Utility Operator - Job Summary:

The Utility Operator is responsible for weighing and moving all waste items to designated storage areas on their assigned shift in compliance with established Company standards and procedures.

Job Duties/Responsibilities: (List in order of importance)

1. Check and properly operate lift truck.

2. Properly identify all waste items from each part of the process.

3. Properly weigh and store each waste item in appropriate storage location.

4. Empty trash hoppers into compactors.

5. Pick up loose bottles from around compactors.

6. Correctly fill out forms and log sheets.

7. Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Wash Line - Job Summary:

The Washer Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operations of the wash machinery on their assigned shift in compliance with established Company standards and procedures.

Job Duties/Responsibilities: (List in order of importance)

1. Monitor the operations of the washers. Make manual adjustments as needed.

2. Examine dump valves for debris and remove from dump valve area. Examine seals for wear and report wear to Shift Lead Operator.

3. Pressure wash shaker screens as needed.

4. Clean equipment and work area and keep washer pit area clean.

5. Test chemical titration.

6. Performs other duties as assigned by management.

- Warehouse Associates

The Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Associate is responsible for timely shipping of finished goods and receipt of raw materials and supplies in accordance with work instructions and company policy.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Diligent in following Company policies, safety standards and good housekeeping practices.

2. Perform tasks related to incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy and completeness.

3. Perform tasks related to material handling and/or inventory.

4. Ensures the accuracy of inventories.

5. Ability to obtain and maintain power industrial truck training and certification.

6. Ability to safely load and unload trailer per work instructions.

7. Complete all paperwork accurately.

8. Keep work area clean and free from debris.

9. Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Must be able to maintain a safe work environment while following Marglen Industries policies and procedures..

Must be able to work 12 hour shifts, pass drug screening and lawfully authorized to work In the United States..
