Sales Development Manager (Bilingual Korean/English)
Salary:
$80,000 - $95,000 Base Salary
Location:
LaGrange, Georgia
This position supports a major automotive customer in LaGrange, GA, and requires travel to Savannah, GA, approximately 3-5 times per month. Mileage reimbursement is provided.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a bilingual Korean/English Sales Development Manager to support customer programs, project execution, and business operations within the automotive manufacturing industry. This role serves as a key liaison between customers, suppliers, and internal teams, ensuring successful program launches, production readiness, and ongoing customer support.
The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive manufacturing, project management, supply chain coordination, or customer program management and be comfortable working in a fast-paced international business environment.
Job Responsibilities:
Customer Development & Project Management
• Support North American customer development projects in collaboration with teams in Korea
• Manage project timelines, customer requirements, and development activities
• Coordinate sample development, customer approvals, and program launch schedules
• Track project milestones and ensure projects remain on schedule
• Support the successful execution of new product launches and customer programs
Customer & Supplier Coordination
• Serve as a primary point of contact between customers, suppliers, and internal teams
• Communicate with customers and suppliers throughout the U.S. and Mexico
• Support resolution of issues related to quality, delivery, and operational performance
• Follow up on customer requests and operational requirements
• Maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders
Production & Supply Chain Support
• Assist with production planning and supply chain stabilization efforts
• Coordinate with manufacturing, operations, and supplier partners to support production goals
• Monitor production schedules, project status, and operational performance metrics
• Support issue resolution impacting production or customer deliveries
Business Growth & Localization Support
• Support localization initiatives for North American operations
• Assist with new business opportunities and customer program launches
• Contribute to the successful execution of automotive interior materials and manufacturing programs
Qualifications:
• Bilingual Korean and English required
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the automotive industry
• Experience with automotive interiors, textiles, interior materials, plastics, polymers, engineered materials, or related manufacturing environments preferred
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Experience coordinating with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business communication tools
• Experience working with international teams is highly preferred
• Willingness to travel within Georgia as needed
Reporting Structure:
• Reports directly to the Department Head
