Job Details
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Engineer to join our internationally recognized firm! This is a permanent, full-time REMOTE position, perfect for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in structural engineering projects, particularly in the design of industrial facilities.
Responsibilities
- Design and analysis of structural systems for various industrial facilities, ensuring that the designs conform to recognized codes and standards, as well as client requirements.
- Work closely with the project team to develop comprehensive project scopes.
- Manage project budgets effectively, ensuring the delivery of high-quality work on time and on budget.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals, providing technical input and cost estimates.
- Review and approve project drawings and specifications, ensuring they meet all necessary codes and quality standards.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and codes to ensure the company's competitive edge.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree will be considered an advantage.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on industrial facilities (highly preferred).
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required.
- Knowledge of steel, concrete, timber design and familiarity with applicable codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, etc.).
- Preferred software knowledge and requirements include Revit, BIM, AutoCAD, RISA 3D, Navisworks, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent project management skills, with a proven ability to manage budgets and deliver projects on time.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
