About the Job

The Testing Evaluator position is a remote, on-demand, part-time role. The Evaluator assists with language proficiency testing, interacting with examinees in their native language. Support may be via telephone or other technology-based media. Tests are evaluated based on specific scoring criteria; paid training is provided. Evaluators must adhere to scoring procedures, maintain consistency, handle repetitive tasks, and keep confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Perform tests professionally
• Follow established processes and guidelines
• Score tests accurately
• Enter data promptly
• Provide feedback to the testing department
• Conduct pilot tests
• Create and review test items
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Testing department

Position Requirements

Skills

• Strong oral and written communication skills in the target language
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Technical communication skills
• Professionalism and organization
• Ability to use email, browse the internet, and navigate Microsoft Office Suite

Education/Training

• Native fluency in the target language
• College Degree
• Proficiency in English (ILR 2+/2+)

Experience

Relevant training and experience that demonstrate the required skills and knowledge.

Salary

Range: $14.00 to $20.00 per test. Actual pay depends on education, experience, and other factors.

• Remote location (U.S. only; some states excluded)
• Benefits are not provided for part-time employees
• Must be based in the U.S., excluding Maine and Puerto Rico
