Nurse Practitioner

Responsibilities: As a Nurse Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in planning, directing, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating nursing care for specific units during your shifts, under the guidance of nursing leadership.
- Receive and review reports from the previous shift, ensuring all pertinent information about residents is gathered.
- Continuously assess resident behaviors, symptoms, and progress, discussing findings with the Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse.
- Administer and accurately document all medications according to established policies, physician's orders, and Department of Health regulations.
- Perform treatments as per physician-specific orders and established protocols.
- Consult with the Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse regarding the need to modify or discontinue any medications or treatments.
- Order prescribed medications, notify the pharmacy about discontinued medications, and verify the accuracy of medications and dosages received.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse License
Education:
- Associate Degree – BSN Preferred
