Jacobs is seeking an HVAC Reliability Manager to join our senior leadership team supporting the Atlanta Airlines Terminal (AAT) project at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, Atlanta, GA . In this role, you'll have exceptional judgement, independent analysis, superior technical, and proven people leader skills to effectively direct and deploy resources that support client and customer requirements for the delivery of exceptional HVAC O&M services at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The HVAC Reliability Manager will possess detailed knowledge in the area of mechanical/HVAC maintenance and reliability engineering and will provide supervision and engineering analysis and evaluation for airport or other industrial facility systems and equipment. The HVAC Reliability Manager will have proven skills driving improved quality, productivity, and safety and be responsible for providing reliable and responsive senior manager support to ensure effective and efficient operations of site assets and systems. This includes the maintenance of all infrastructure, engineering support, mechanical and HVAC systems. AAT Project services are ISO 9001: 2015 compliant.
AAT operates continuously with three primary shifts - 6:00 AM–2:00 PM, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM, and 10:00 PM–6:00 AM. While duties are primarily on site during standard business hours, this senior leadership role requires availability for off hours, nights, weekends, and emergency or extreme weather operations to ensure service continuity.
Essential Job Functions
1. Establish and drive HVAC engineering principles and best work practices in accordance with the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) or equivalent.
2. Develop and manage preventive/predictive maintenance programs to ensure equipment availability.
3. Develop procedures for major overhauls and repairs of mechanical/HVAC systems.
4. Provide 24/7 failure response in the event of a system issue and provide immediate response through in-house and contract resources to return systems to full productivity in an expedient manner.
5. Drive HVAC leadership team performance to meet HVAC system key performance indicator (KPI) uptime goals

Here's what you'll need
- Associates degree with a relevant combination of technical training and experience, or bachelor’s degree required.
- Ten years of leadership and HVAC-related field experience with extensive experience managing the assignment and the completion of work by HVAC and BMS technical teams required.
- Ability to test, troubleshoot, and conduct root cause analysis on failed equipment, develop action plans to eliminate repeat failures, and implement corrective actions.
- Ability to use a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to track maintenance activities.
- Ability to modify sequences of operations for AHUs, chilled water, and hot water systems.
- Understands both constant and variable flow systems and properly applies to equipment.
- Knowledge of enterprise asset management system (EAMS) software application systems or equivalent and EAMS capabilities for managing assets, PMs, job plans, routes, reports, etc.
- Familiarity with condition monitoring software and applications.
- Knowledge of BMS-controlled HVAC system design, operations, and maintenance requirements in large-scale commercial, institutional, or manufacturing settings.
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and critical analysis skills and proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Must possess a current valid driver's license with no major infractions
Ideally, You’ll Also Have
- BS in mechanical engineering or equivalent from an ABET accredited school preferred.
- ISO CAT II or higher certification in vibration analysis preferred.

102,900.00

The base salary range for this position is $102,900.00 to $142,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
