Job Description
Located in Westminster, SC, Ulbrich Specialty Wire Products (UWSP), a division of Ulbrich, is currently seeking an experienced Account Manager to cover the Southern U.S. territory. The commercial role will include our Medical, Specialty Cable, Precision and Fine Wire product lines.
Based out of your home office, this position will make a significant contribution in the sales of Ulbrich Specialty Wire Products . The Account Manager will be responsible for expanding the customer base with strategic sales strategies. This position will determine customer needs for new products and establish new client business. The Account Manager will assume a proactive sales leadership role in developing, building, and maintaining long-lasting relationships with new and existing customers while working closely with our inside sales, management, and technical staff. We are seeking a motivated and successful outside sales professional with a proven track record who can make a significant contribution selling our products.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Engineering and possess a minimum of five years of technical sales experience, preferably in the metals industry. They must demonstrate the ability to meet established business goals and deadlines, sell technical products while delivering exemplary customer service, and have a proven track record of developing strategic sales and building new business. Strong skills in developing and meeting sales forecasts, as well as excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities, are essential. Candidates should be energetic, focused, and proactive self-starters who can make independent decisions with a strong sense of urgency. Proficiency in MS Office and marketing databases is required, along with strong customer service skills and solid technical aptitude. This role requires up to 40% travel, including some international travel.
