Job Title: Warehouse Associate – Labeling / Palletizing / Cleaning
Location: Lithia Springs / Thornton Rd.
Shift: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm (some Saturday OT based on business, 8:30am - 2:30pm)

Job Summary

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting warehouse operations through tasks such as labeling, palletizing, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This role requires attention to detail, physical endurance, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Labeling & Packaging:

  • Scan, weigh, and label boxes, cartons, or pallets per order specifications.

  • Ensure labeling accuracy (product codes, destination, handling instructions).

  • Prepare shipping documentation and affix packing lists or barcodes.

• Palletizing:

  • Build pallets: retrieve completed orders and place them securely on pallets.

  • Re-palletize product when needed to optimize space or prepare for shipping.

  • Operate manual or motorized pallet jacks, stretch wrap machines, or palletizers.

  • Perform dock manifest duties, including scanning completed pallets and shrink wrapping.

• Housekeeping & Cleaning:

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times (floor, packing stations, pallet storage).

  • Sweep, vacuum, and perform regular cleaning of warehouse floors, racks, and workstations.

  • Report and address any spills, debris, or hazards in the workspace.

  • Support periodic deep-cleaning efforts (e.g., scheduled sanitation).

• Safety & Compliance:

  • Follow all company safety protocols, SOPs, and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).

  • Participate in regular safety meetings and report unsafe conditions.

  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

• Quality & Documentation:

  • Ensure all packaged or palletized items meet quality standards.

  • Complete required logs, checklists, or records (e.g., cleaning logs, inventory counts).

  • Assist with cycle counts or inventory audits when needed.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience— specifically in labeling, palletizing, or cleaning.

• Ability to operate pallet jacks or other material handling equipment.

• Strong attention to detail and quality.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.

• Basic computer skills / familiarity with warehouse systems (RF scanners, WMS) preferred.

• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

• Reliable attendance and adherence to shift schedule.
