Our West Campus is located at 2400 Gillionville Road, Albany, GA 31707. Our East Campus is located at 504 College Drive, Albany, GA 31705. The Human Resources office for both campuses is located on the West Campus in Building K, Suite 209.
Job Summary
The Leadership and Holistic Growth Coordinator is a dynamic student affair professional responsible for designing, implementing, and assessing comprehensive programs that foster student leadership development, financial literacy, and holistic well-being. This position advances a culture of student engagement, institutional pride, and lifelong learning by integrating data-informed practices with innovative programming that supports the academic, personal, and professional success of students. The Coordinator plays a critical role in cultivating transformative student experiences that align with the university¿s mission and strategic priorities.

Responsibilities
Leadership Development and Learning
- Design and facilitate a comprehensive student leadership development framework grounded in best practices and student development theory.
- Coordinate leadership workshops, retreats, and training opportunities for student leaders, including SGA, Royal Court.
- Develop scalable leadership pathways that promote civic engagement, ethical leadership, and career readiness.
- Collaborate with campus partners to integrate leadership learning outcomes across co-curricular experiences.
Financial Literacy and Student Success
- Develop and implement financial literacy initiatives that educate students on budgeting, credit management, student loans, and wealth-building strategies.
- Partner with Financial Aid, Business Affairs, and University Advancement to promote a culture of financial responsibility and student giving.
- Support initiatives such as student philanthropy campaigns (e.g., Students Helping Students) that reinforce the importance of giving and institutional investment.
- Assess student learning outcomes related to financial literacy and adjust programming accordingly.
Spirit, Pride, and Campus Engagement
- Lead efforts to enhance school spirit, institutional pride, and student connectedness through signature programs and traditions.
- Coordinate spirit-driven initiatives including homecoming engagement, campus traditions, and Royal Court programming support.
- Collaborate with Athletics, Alumni Affairs, and Student Activities to create a unified and vibrant campus culture.
Data, Assessment, and Strategic Impact
- Develop and implement assessment strategies to measure program effectiveness, student engagement, and learning outcomes.
- Collect, analyze, and report data to inform decision-making and continuous program improvement.
- Utilize institutional data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities to enhance student success and engagement.
- Prepare reports and presentations for divisional leadership that demonstrate program impact and alignment with institutional goals.
Occasional evening and weekend work required to support student programming.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor¿s degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, Counseling, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of professional experience in student affairs, leadership development, or student engagement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working at a public institution.
- Experience with data analysis, assessment tools, and reporting.
- Proven ability to lead large-scale programs and campus-wide initiatives.

- Knowledge of student development theory and holistic models of student growth.
- Knowledge of leadership development models and best practices in co-curricular programming.
- Knowledge of higher education administration, including student affairs functions and institutional structure.
- Interpersonal and relationship-building skills for working across campus departments and with diverse student populations.
- Data collection and reporting skills to assess program effectiveness and support accreditation or assessment processes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including public speaking, facilitation, and professional writing.
- Program planning and event coordination skills, including logistics, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Ability to develop and deliver training, workshops, and experiential programs that foster leadership and personal growth.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships across academic affairs, student affairs, and external partners.
- Ability to think critically and creatively to design innovative programming
- Ability to manage competing priorities and respond to student needs with flexibility.
- Ability to collect, analyze, and use data to drive continuous improvement in programs and services.
