Momar is looking for a new Customer Service Representative I!
Momar, Inc., a privately owned, specialty chemical manufacturing company based in Atlanta GA, is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join the Momar family. Reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor the Customer Service Representative is responsible for assisting both internal and external customers with orders via telephone and email.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Serve as the initial point of contact for general inquiries pertaining to orders and products.
- Oversee the shipping and routing processes for orders by collaborating with freight carriers.
- Process and track orders until delivery, promptly supplying proof of delivery.
- Collaborate seamlessly with various departments to efficiently resolve inquiries.
- Accurately input, modify, and update orders.
- Initiate email invoicing and manage payment processing.
- Respond to emails in the Customer Service Email Workbox, providing timely responses.
- Handle the processing of Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) for both FedEx and Truckline orders.
- Assist in training new Customer Service Representatives.
- Complete credit memos and 60 Day Letters as necessary.
- Undertake additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned by management.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- The ability to navigate multiple computer applications swiftly and accurately.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years of customer service experience.
- Previous experience in database management and sales support is a valuable advantage.
Physical Requirements: Sedentary
- Ability to routinely lift up and/or move 10 lbs. unassisted.
- Frequently required to sit, use hands and fingers to handle/feel items, reach with hands and arms, stoop, bend, and talk or hear.
Prior experience working in the chemical manufacturing field and a working knowledge of NAV are highly preferred.
