Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Medical Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting and delivering essential at-home medical supplies and equipment to patients throughout the Columbus, GA area. You will ensure that items are handled with care, delivered on time, and that excellent customer service is provided to all patients and healthcare partners.

Responsibilities

• Safely pick up, transport, and deliver medical supplies and equipment to residential patients
• Verify delivery instructions and ensure accurate documentation and signatures
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle
• Practice strong infection control and hygiene standards during all deliveries
• Interact with patients and families in a professional, courteous, and compassionate manner
• Report any delivery issues or patient concerns to supervisors promptly
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs
• 24-hour on-call schedule every 4 to 5 days

Qualifications and Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (required)
• Ability to lift, carry, and transport items up to 50 lbs
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Previous experience in medical delivery, courier services, or logistics (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions accurately
• Comfortable working independently and managing delivery routes efficiently
• Must pass a background check and drug screen
