Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to oncology patients per physician orders and treatment plans
- Administer prescribed medications and therapies, monitor patient response, and report adverse effects
- Conduct ongoing patient assessments; document findings in the electronic health record; update care plans accordingly
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing colleagues, pharmacists, and social workers to coordinate care and discharge planning
- Monitor safety and infection control; ensure adherence to safety standards and equipment readiness
- Educate patients and families about disease processes, treatment expectations, and post-discharge care

Requirements
- Active RN license in Georgia
- Minimum 2 years of oncology nursing experience
- BLS certification
- Ability to adapt to a hospital travel assignment and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
