Project Coordinator handles a variety of tasks to ensure efficient daily operation of the business needs. The Project Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative assistance and support to the Project Management team during all aspects of a project lifecycle. The Project Coordinator will manage operational tasks under the direction of operations and project managers through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication.
Responsibilities:
- Manages operational tasks under the direction of managers
- Leads the project management workflow for assigned projects
- Data entry of our schedule
- Setup tracking for our production within our software program
- Helps assigned teams meet and exceed their goals and objectives
- Contributes to reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Assists with financial tasks, including invoicing, forecasting, expense reports, budgeting, etc
- Communicate issues, events, performance and progress daily to the Project Manager.
- Creates invoices according to company practices; submits invoices to customers.
- Reviews accounts payable invoices and confirms correct accounting codes were used.
- Reconcile vendor statements and handled payment complaints or discrepancies
- Assign and review invoices for proper accounting codes
- Establish effective working relationships with clients and team members.
- Provide support to employees as needed.
Requirements:
- College degree in engineering, construction management, or business preferred.
- Competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or similar required.
- 1+ years of related experience in construction/utility fields preferred.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time, exempt position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday but flexibility is required as job duties demand.
