About the Role
As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Crelate, you are the first point of contact with prospective customers. You’ll be responsible for engaging both inbound and outbound leads, qualifying prospects, and setting up meetings for our Account Executives.

Job Responsibilities
- Generate & Qualify Leads: Engage inbound leads and conduct outbound prospecting to generate new opportunities.
- Multi-Channel Outreach: Use email, phone calls, LinkedIn, and video prospecting (Vidyard) to connect with staffing and recruiting firms.
- Discovery & Engagement: Conduct thoughtful discovery calls to understand business challenges and align prospects with Crelate’s solutions.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain and update our CRM (HubSpot/Salesforce) to manage lead interactions, track engagement, and ensure a smooth handoff to Account Executives.
- Strategic Messaging: Create customized outreach for specific industries and personas.
- Activity & Performance Tracking: Maintain high email and call volumes with precise follow-up, helping to drive sales pipeline and demand generation reports.
- Collaborate & Innovate: Work closely with marketing and sales teams to refine outreach strategies, test new approaches, and provide feedback on lead quality.

Skills You’ll Bring with You
- 1-3 years of experience in business development, inside sales, or a related role.
- Experience in SaaS sales, preferably mid-market or enterprise-level customers.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and speaking with staffing and recruiting professionals.
- CRM experience (HubSpot, Salesforce); familiarity with LinkedIn is a prospecting is a must.
- Exceptional communication skills—clear, concise, and persuasive in both written and verbal formats.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities.
- Coachable and eager to learn—you want to grow your career in sales.
- A strong customer-first mindset—you’re passionate about helping businesses succeed.
