Test Engineer - PCB
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans: Create and implement test procedures to validate PCB functionality and adherence to specifications.
- Test PCBs: Conduct electrical, functional, and performance tests using specialized equipment like oscilloscopes and multimeters.
- Troubleshoot faults: Identify, analyze, and resolve defects and issues found during testing.
- Collaborate with teams: Work with design and production teams to address problems and implement corrective actions.
- Document findings: Keep detailed records of test results and troubleshooting activities.
- Ensure quality standards: Verify that PCBs meet all quality, functionality, and safety standards before they are released.
Education:
Typically requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electronics, or a related field.
Technical skills:
Proficiency with diagnostic equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters. Knowledge of circuit design and automated testing systems is valuable.
Analytical skills:
Strong ability to analyze test results and troubleshoot complex problems.
Soft skills:
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are essential for collaborating in cross-functional teams.
