Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - General Surgery
Job Overview
Seeking dedicated and skilled NP or PA to join our General Surgeon in an office-based position.
- OP clinic with pre/post op checks and new problems.
- Occasional minor surgery in office.
- FT, M-F, 8 am to 5 pm (36 PFHs/4 Hrs Admin)
- Occasional call coverage (phone only) when physician is out of town
Qualifications
- Master's degree in nursing or physician assistant studies
- Board certified with active GA license in good standing (or eligible)
Duties
- This role involves providing comprehensive patient care, conducting assessments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and vital signs monitoring.
- Administer medications and injections as needed, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques and safety protocols.
- Utilize Epic EMR system for accurate documentation and data management.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations while managing medical records and patient data.
