LHH has partnered with a leading national manufacturer headquartered in Gwinnett County to identify a skilled Accounts Receivable / Collections Specialist to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for professionals with a strong background in commercial collections and a passion for financial accuracy and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a high-volume portfolio of up to 500 accounts , ensuring timely collection of outstanding balances.
Negotiate payment arrangements with clients while maintaining positive relationships.
Monitor and enforce credit holds/releases based on account status and company policy.
Perform account reconciliations to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Collaborate with internal departments to address billing issues and support resolution efforts.
Maintain detailed records of collection activities, communications, and payment statuses.
Prepare and submit regular reports on collection performance and aging accounts.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 3+ years of recent commercial collections experience .
Proficiency in SAP or NetSuite and Intermediate Excel skills , including pivot tables .
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
High attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management.
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Familiarity with Oracle Fusion, PeopleSoft, or other ERP systems is a plus.
