Process Technician (Injection Molding)

Process Technician (Night Shift) We are seeking a highly skilled Process Technician to optimize, monitor, and maintain our plastic injection and blow molding manufacturing machinery. In this role, you will ensure production hits peak efficiency and quality while maintaining a safe work environment.

We are specifically looking for candidates with 5+ years of experience performing complex mold changeovers in a plastics manufacturing setting.

Schedule & Compensation

• Shift: 2-2-3 Rotating Schedule

• Hours: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM

• Pay Range: $25.00 – $37.00/hr (Commensurate with experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Machine Operation & Setup: Lead proper start-up/shut-down procedures, execute efficient mold changes, and manage precision machine settings.

• Production Monitoring: Oversee cycle times, temperatures, and pressures to guarantee product quality and output efficiency.

• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Perform advanced troubleshooting on injection and blow molding plastics equipment and conduct routine preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.

• Quality Control: Conduct regular quality audits throughout the shift and monitor material consumption to ensure strict compliance with standards.

• Safety & Housekeeping: Uphold a clean, organized work environment (5S) and strictly adhere to all safety regulations.

• Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of downtime, shift outputs, and production data.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience with mold changeovers, working on injection molding and blow molding technology.

• Physical Demands: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, including the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset for seamless team handoffs.

• Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of downtime and production data.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience with mold changeovers, working in injection-molded and blow-molded plastic manufacturing.

• Physical Demands: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, including the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• wearing steel toe shoes
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
