Occupational Therapy - Outpatient - Stockbridge, GA
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education
Graduate from an accredited OT school
Experience
At least 1 outpatient experience required
General Skills: Adult Outpatient, Rehab Facility; Patient Diagnoses include stroke, ortho (shoulder, hands, UE) and other neuro (MS, TBI, Guillan Burre); Required Skills include assessment, discharge, evaluation, plan of care, reassessments, lifting and transfer, patient/family education, safety and injury prevention, telephone calls, adaptive equipment and pre-discharge planning
Licenses/Certifications
Current OT licensure in the state of Georgia
AHA BLS certification required
Epic computer charting required
Lymphedema cert required
Key Responsibilities
• Ensure compliance with state guidelines and policies and identify potential issues and propose corrective actions
• Maintain accurate records and statistics, including staffing levels, inventory, and patient care
• Maintain a professional and high standard of patient care and attend institutional staff meetings as directed
