Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school in Midland, GA is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential support to students throughout the school year on a contract basis. This role focuses on delivering high-quality speech and language services to children across all grade levels, fostering their communication skills and contributing to their academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students' needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working as an SLP in a school setting.
- Knowledgeable about state and federal guidelines related to speech therapy in schools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and staff.
- Commitment to supporting childrens educational and communicative development.
