The Fresh Laundry in Smyrna Georgia is looking for a laundry attendant to come on board. In this position you will be responsible for organizing, cleaning and sorting customer clothing and linen items, including sheets and towels. The position also requires you to use our provided cleaning materials to tackle items in need of extra attention. You will report directly to our store manager who will guide you through best practices and address any concerns that arise in your daily tasks. This is the perfect position for anyone who is detail oriented and enjoys working with customers, takes pride in her or his work and has afternoon and weekend availability.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide white glove customer service including: opening doors for customers, carrying out bags of laundry to customer cars, finding an empty laundry cart for a customer and direct a customer to a washer or dryer that is not in use.
• Assist customers with questions about services, machines, and pricing.
• Accept, process, and return wash and fold laundry orders accurately.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and package laundry according to company standards.
• Clean and maintain the store throughout the shift, including machines, folding tables, restrooms, and floors.
• Report machine malfunctions or maintenance needs to management.
• Handle transactions and cash accurately.
• Restock supplies (detergent, dryer sheets, bags, etc.) as needed.
• Follow all company policies, hygiene standards, and safety procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience as a laundry worker
• Positive attitude and genuine commitment to customer service.
• Dependable and punctual with the ability to work a consistent schedule in the afternoon and weekends.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
