Quality Engineer
Akkodis is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure product integrity, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement within a dynamic aerospace environment. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and leadership in quality assurance practices.
Pay Range: $90,000-$100,000 annually + Benefits
Responsibilities
Partner with operations, engineering, and compliance teams to align quality processes.
Facilitate issue resolution using structured methodologies (e.g., 8D) and support cross-functional initiatives.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
Conduct root cause analysis for quality and production issues using data-driven approaches.
Implement corrective and preventive actions to maintain compliance and performance standards.
Ensure timely resolution of non-conformances to meet customer and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
Professional certifications (Six Sigma, ASQ CQE/CQA) preferred.
Minimum 8 years of experience in aerospace quality management.
Background in production or MRO environments required.
Familiarity with life-saving equipment (e.g., emergency slides, rafts) is a plus.
Expertise in quality management systems and tools (e.g., 8D, FMEA, SPC).
Familiarity with aerospace quality standards (AS9100, FAA, EASA, UK CAA Part 145).
Experience in auditing and root cause analysis.
