Assistant Plant Sales Manager
GENERAL SUMMARY:Directs the flow of information for sales activities and transactions (leads, billings, orders, contracts). Plans production to ensure that all customer orders are covered.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Own order fulfillment and line efficiency for a poultry production plant
- Create production schedule for poultry production plant twice daily ensuring customer needs
are met, relative to operational capabilities
- Conduct daily meeting with sales and operations to review the schedule and inventory
- Update sales forecast with accurate estimations for bird weight and head kill
- Work closely with operations during the day to ensure schedule adherence and order
fulfillment
- Reconcile Inventory on a daily basis to ensure no waste or spoilage
- Advise the sales team on available to sell volumes
- Prioritize key and strategic customers
- Work with 6 partner plants to aid in order fulfillment
- Spend time on the operational floor and understand the process flow of the plant
What You’ll Need:
- Education: Bachelor Degreeor similar field preferred. Experience may be considered in lieu
of educational requirement;
- Experience: 2-5 years of directly related experience preferred;
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
thorough understanding of poultry industry and bird cutouts, Intermediate skills required for
Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, problem solve/root cause analysis, knowledge of SAP
a plus, strong communication and leadership skills, both written and verbal. Quick learner
of Company protocols/programs and adaptable to change. Solid math and analytical abilities for
problem-solving and decision-making. Reliable and ethical, with a strong work ethic and
punctuality. Team-oriented and self-motivated, able to thrive in fast-paced environments.

- Base salary range of 65,000.00+;
- Discretionary Bonus: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s yearly bonus plan,
