Communications Assistant
Tempest Elite is hiring an outgoing and motivated Entry Level Communications Assistant to join our growing team in Atlanta. This full-time, on-site opportunity is ideal for recent graduates, early-career professionals, and individuals interested in gaining practical experience in communications, marketing, customer engagement, and client relations.
The Communications Assistant will help support local marketing campaigns, promotional initiatives, client communications, and customer outreach activities. Team members interact directly with customers and clients, communicate campaign information, assist with event coordination, and help create positive brand experiences.
No previous communications, marketing, or sales experience is required. Tempest Elite provides hands-on training, ongoing mentorship, and the resources needed to become confident in the position.
Communications Assistant Responsibilities
- Communicate directly with customers and clients during marketing campaigns, promotional events, and outreach initiatives
- Present accurate information about represented products, services, promotions, and client campaigns
- Support the preparation and execution of local marketing and communications strategies
- Build positive customer relationships through professional, friendly, and consistent communication
- Assist with event preparation, promotional materials, campaign coordination, and on-site activities
- Respond to customer questions and help connect individuals with appropriate products or services
- Maintain organized records of customer interactions, campaign activity, appointments, and follow-up communication
- Collaborate with team members to improve customer engagement, campaign messaging, and overall performance
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and campaign development activities
Communications Assistant Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be available to work full-time and on-site in Atlanta, GA
- Have reliable transportation for commuting to the office and assigned work locations
- Demonstrate strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Maintain a professional, positive, and dependable attitude
- Be organized and capable of managing multiple responsibilities
- Feel comfortable speaking with customers, clients, and members of the public
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Be willing to learn new communication, marketing, and customer engagement techniques
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, events, communications, marketing, promotions, or sales may be helpful but is not required.
