The Bankruptcy Paralegal plays a critical role in supporting a solo practitioner by managing case-related tasks with precision and efficiency. This position involves handling bankruptcy case documentation, coordinating client communications, and ensuring all filings and deadlines are met in compliance with legal standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage bankruptcy case files and documentation
- Prepare legal documents and assist with court filings
- Maintain accurate recordkeeping for cases
- Communicate directly with clients regarding case status and information
- Track and adhere to critical deadlines
- Assist in discovery processes and document review
- Coordinate scheduling of meetings and court appearances
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in legal support, preferably in bankruptcy law
