Intonu is currently looking for a Forklift Operator and General laborer to be a part of our Non-Ferrous Operations team. We are looking for the right individual who will be committed to being a part of our successful organization. The ideal candidate will possess a team player mindset and the qualifications to operate a forklift. You will be required to submit to a drug test and background check upon a conditional offer of employment. We also participate in the E-Verify process.

Intonu recycles a variety of different materials, including ferrous and nonferrous metals. Our collection and processing facility is located on the west side of Atlanta, GA.

• Starting Pay $18-$20 per hour depending on experience

Summary/Objective This position is key in our Non-Ferrous department under inventory. This position exists primarily to move and organize material in a timely fashion according to the specifications of the Inventory Supervisor.
Essential Duties

• Load and unload material and organize material according to the specifications of the supervisor.
• Adhere to company safety policies and wear PPE at all times.
• Operate a forklift safely while achieving warehouse goals on time.
• General labor is included in this position as requested by the supervisor.
• Keep updated reports of equipment.

Required Skills and Abilities
• Proven experience as a forklift operator.
• Attention to detail and familiarity with equipment..
• Forklift Operator Certificate

Work Environment
This job operates in an open warehouse and is exposed to all kinds of weather during the shift.
Physical Demands
Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, repetitive motion. Medium work: exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally. Visual acuity is required to operate heavy equipment. The worker is subject to all weather conditions. Manual labor is also required.
