Machine Operator

Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a dependable Machine Operator in Griffin, GA. In this hands-on and rewarding role, you will be responsible for operating production equipment, ensuring product quality, performing basic machine adjustments, and contributing to a safe and efficient manufacturing environment. In a Machine Operator job you’ll be responsible for:

• Operating and monitoring manufacturing machinery to meet production goals.
• Setting up equipment and adjusting machine settings as needed.
• Performing quality inspections on finished products to ensure specifications are met.
• Loading raw materials and removing finished products from production lines.
• Identifying and reporting equipment issues or production concerns.
• Completing production paperwork and maintaining accurate records.
• Following all safety procedures and maintaining a clean work area.
• Assisting with basic troubleshooting and preventive maintenance activities.

What you’ll need:

• Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred but not required as we train you!
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and production specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Schedule: 1st shift Mon - Fri 7AM - 3:30PM | 2nd shift Mon - Thurs 4PM - 2:30AM
Pay: $14/hr - 1st shift | $14.50/hr - 2nd shift
