Position: SALES / FINANCE MANAGER
This position reports directly to the General Manager or Dealer Principal Job Description
The following duties for the position listed shall include but not be limited to; ΠEnsure smooth and profitable operation of sales department. ΠMaintain motivated, professional, and successful Sales Team. ΠAbility to complete all daily and end of day reporting procedures. ΠEnsure adequate number of trained salespeople are on duty during hours of operation. ΠProvide and/or arrange training, direction, and scheduling for all sales department staff to meet the needs of the dealership. ΠReview previous day Leads, logs and write-ups with sales team to evaluate daily performance. ΠApprove and direct all motorcycle sales. Arrange for coverage from General Manager, Dealer Principal or F&I Manager when unavailable. ΠWorks directly with Manufacturing representatives on inventory control, initiatives, and marketing efforts. ΠFamiliar with all aspects including market value of products sold. ΠEnsure that all units new or used are repaired, reconditioned, set up and ready for immediate sale. ΠEnsure that all merchandise in the department is clean and displayed properly. ΠEnsure Websites and Social Media maintains up to date inventory and Manufacturers compliance. ΠWork closely with General Manager or Dealer Principal in planning and implementing all aspects of advertising, promotions, and events. ΠMonitor and set up motivational games and status boards. ΠAssist and back up the F & I Manager. ΠFollow dealership policies pertaining to the department including general housekeeping. ΠBe well groomed and comply with company dress codes at all times. ΠAny other specific duties deemed necessary for the overall success of the department and the dealership as a whole. ΠMaintain consistent communication with Parts and Service departments. ΠEncourages and cultivates a positive working relationship and promotes a strong, harmonious atmosphere for all team members of Honda of South Georgia. Qualifications
ΠTechnology proficient. ΠKnowledge of Lightspeed EVO is a PLUS. ΠFamiliarity of product lines sold in dealership. ΠExcellent customer service skills. ΠPrevious motorcycle or automobile sales experience. ΠPrevious management experience. High School Diploma or equivalent.
