Summary
This is not just a desk job. You’ll be the heartbeat of the school , helping to coordinate day-to-day operations, spark creativity in classrooms, and uplift both staff and families. From organizing meaningful parent engagement experiences to ensuring our environment feels magical and intentional—you will play a vital role in what makes us bright .
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM ( with flexibility based on school needs; our academy is open 5:00 AM – 6:30 PM ) Duties
- Assume duties of Center Director and Teachers as needed during their absence.
- Follow all center policies and state regulations.
- Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.
- Serve as the right hand to the Executive Director and Director
- Lead Parent Engagement initiatives and school-wide events with innovation and warmth
- Assist with school-wide decor , bulletin boards, and seasonal themes
- Ensure staff morale and satisfaction through ongoing check-ins, support, and celebrations
- Oversee office operations and provide administrative support (ProCare, email, documentation, etc.)
- Step into the classroom as needed to support instructional flow and compliance
- Monitor and model health, safety, and licensing standards
- Communicate professionally with families and team members
- Handle computer-based tasks with ease (Google Suite, email, Microsoft Office, Canva, etc.)
- 3 – 5 years of direct professional experience in an early childhood setting.
- High energy.
- Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
- Must clear full background check.
- Must pass health screening.
- CDA or Associate’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Current CPR First Aid certification
- Demonstrated event planning and organization skills
- Proven ability to multitask, self-direct, and manage priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Warm, confident communicator and team leader
- Tech-savvy and comfortable with modern administrative tools
- Deep passion for children, families, and lifelong learning
- Flexibility to occasionally adjust schedule based on school activities or staffing needs
Background in marketing, social media, or parent communication tools
Familiarity with Quality Rated , CACFP, or similar programs
Graphic design skills using Canva , Publisher , or similar tools
Bilingual (Spanish or ASL preferred) to support diverse families
Previous experience managing school-wide events or staff appreciation programs
Enthusiastic about public speaking , leading meetings, or conducting trainings
Knowledge of conscious discipline , trauma-informed practices, or behavior redirection techniques
CPR/First Aid Trainer Certification
