Ambassador Personnel is currently hiring a detail-oriented and dependable Inventory Clerk II for a warehouse facility in Norcross, GA. This position is ideal for candidates with inventory control experience, cycle counting knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high levels of accuracy.

The Inventory Clerk II is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy through cycle counting, auditing, and reconciliation processes. This role works closely with warehouse operations and inventory control leadership to identify discrepancies, investigate root causes, and ensure proper product placement and system accuracy. Candidates should be comfortable using warehouse equipment and inventory systems, including SAP (preferred).

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled cycle counts, including rack and special counts

• Investigate inventory discrepancies and determine root causes of variances

• Reconcile inventory differences and maintain detailed logs and documentation

• Conduct empty location audits and routine aisle sweeps

• Verify inventory accuracy and maintain proper bin labeling

• Review damaged product and assist with recovery or disposition

• Identify and report stray or misplaced merchandise

• Assist with slotting new items and maintaining optimal inventory locations

• Record product dimensions, sizes, and weights as needed

• Communicate inventory issues proactively with leadership and relevant teams

• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and electric pallet jacks as needed

• Perform additional warehouse and inventory-related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Minimum 1 year of relevant inventory or warehouse experience

• Experience with cycle counting and inventory control processes required

• SAP knowledge and experience preferred

• Forklift or equipment operation experience preferred (cherry picker, stand-up forklift, electric pallet jack)

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Basic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse systems

• Strong communication and multitasking abilities

• Ability to record and track measurements (dimensions, weight, etc.)

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed

Work Environment & Requirements:

• Warehouse environment with varying temperatures

• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift

• Steel toe shoes (mid-top for ankle support) required on day one

• Dress code: no graphic t-shirts, no cut-off sleeves, no stretch pants; shorts are permitted

• Must be able to operate warehouse equipment and obtain certification if required

Schedule & Pay:

• Monday – Friday

• 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

• No overtime at this time

• Pay rate: up to $18.00/hour
