Key Qualifications:

• Valid Georgia Special Education Licensure/Certification (active status required; confirmation needed with application)
• Previous experience in school-based special education roles preferred
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with general education staff, support IEP implementation, manage classroom environments, and maintain thorough documentation
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to student development
• Full-time availability for the duration of the school year (Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours per week)
• Candidates must be onsite and possess reliable transportation

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction for students with ASD in alignment with IEPs and district guidelines
• Foster a positive, structured, and accommodating classroom environment
• Collaborate regularly with general education teachers, support staff, and families for optimal student outcomes
• Monitor progress, administer assessments, and maintain accurate records for compliance and reporting
• Participate in IEP meetings and help guide case management tasks as required
• Demonstrate flexibility to adapt to caseload needs and varying grade levels as assigned
