Sales Account Manager II - BCD:
The Sales Account Manager is responsible for delivering Volume and DGP growth over prior year for BCS products. This role executes the BCD sales strategy around products and markets to profitably grow a defined territory or assigned customer base.
What You’ll Do:
- Actively manage a territory and interact with key internal and external business associates including their Sales Director, Product Management, other Verticals and the Shared Service (Customer Service/Ops) team to efficiently and effectively support and fulfill our customer needs.
- Sells deep into accounts by developing multiple contacts at various levels of management and functional groups.
- Sell the Univar Value Proposition
- Ensures prospects and customers are properly qualified, including safety and environmental performance, and financial worthiness.
- Maintains adequate pipeline to ensure Churn (new business vs. lost business) outperforms territory goals.
- Utilizes discretion with company funds for entertainment and travel as outlined in the Company Travel and Expense policy.
- Ability to identify, aggregate and report on all BCD product opportunities.
- Owns and executes on Annual Volume and DGP goals.
- Is focused on marketing volume of regional Chlor Alkali plants
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent business experience
- In-depth knowledge of chemical distribution business
- Minimum 10 year sales and marketing experience, preferably in chlor-alkali and/or sulfur markets
- Demonstrated success driving sales growth
- Expert relationship builder both externally and internally.
- Strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration
- Strong communication skills; both verbal and written.

This is a remote position for candidates located in the Greater Atlanta, GA area, with expected travel requirements.
