Technical Architect - Cloud & FinOps (Atlanta, GA, or other unanticipated locations throughout U.S.)

Our team is looking for a Technical Architect – Cloud & FinOps.

Responsibilities include: Implementing complex cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure services, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Developing comprehensive cloud architectures that align with business objectives and technology strategy. Working on different software development tasks using a variety of Azure tools. Ensuring software solutions are based on a well-architected framework that factors in performance, operational excellence, security, scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency requirements. Evaluating and selecting appropriate software solutions and defining integration and testing methods. Working with a team of cloud engineers and developers and applying best practices and unblocking technical issues. Remaining current with the latest services, tools, and best practices. Overseeing the deployment, management, and maintenance of cloud resources. Automating deployment and configuration management processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as ARM templates and Azure Bicep. Developing disaster recovery and business continuity plans for cloud services. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and security, to ensure seamless integration and operation of cloud systems. Communicating effectively with stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide cloud solutions that meet their needs. Monitoring and optimizing the performance and security of cloud systems to ensure they meet service level agreements (SLAs). Implementing cost management strategies to optimize cloud spending. Assisting with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues when they arise.

B.A in Computer Science or closely related.

60 mo. exp in any related software development/consultant position related to Azure & Cloud.

60 mon. in: Azure Open AI; Azure AI Search; Azure Databricks; Azure Landing Zone; Azure AI Video Indexer; Azure Migration; Azure Kusto Query Language; Kubernetes; CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. Telecommuting permitted.
