Logistics Manager Specialist

PRI seeking a Logistics Manager Specialist (LMS) to provide support to perform all facets of LMS principles, procedures, techniques, and practices associated with LMS workload. Support is to include requirements definition, performance assessment, specification development, risk assessment and mitigation, configuration and data management, product hardware and software testing, safety, quality assurance, enterprise repair, reliability and maintainability, and technology transfer and insertion.

Tasking Includes but is not limited to:

• W ork with IPTs on specific weapons systems, subsystems, or programs to analyze installation and Major Command planning and programming documents to determine the nature and scope of acquisition and sustainment effort.
  

• P rovide assistance and guidance on logistics systems and processes
  

• Understand supply chain management systems and processes include developing tactical and strategic acquisition strategies
  

• Familiarization with Requirements Approval Document (RAD), Purchase Request Process System (PRPS), Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF), Logistics Installations and Mission Support Enterprise View (LIMS-EV), Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Asset Visibility, Commercial Asset Visibility Air Force (CAV-AF), Planning for DLA Managed Consumables (PDMC)/ Demand Data Exchange (DDE)
  

• Understand how to build a program continuity book, lead an IPT, AFSO21 8 Step Problem Solving, developing bullet background papers, retention letters and packages, and Market Research reports.
  

Requirements

• Experience with Supply Chain Management around United States Air Force Avionics, Electronic Warfare, Support Equipment, Special Operations, and/or specific aircraft to include F-15, C-130, and C-5.
  


• United States Air Force experience as an Officer / Non-Commissioned officer preferred.
  


• Civilian / Contractor experience providing similar experience to USAF or other military branch is acceptable.
